Consolidated Car Rental Facility McCarran International Airport VA Scope: Architectural Acoustics, Audio Visual Systems, Environmental Noise, Industrial Noise and Vibration  Location: Las Vegas, Nevada Design: Swisher & Hall Completion: 2006 Cost: $150 million Located approximately 2.5 miles south of the airport, the facility houses approximately 11 rental agencies and will accommodate growth projects through the year 2012. The project is located on an 80-acre site and consists of a 3-story 1,745,000 SF cast-in-place parking garage, a two-story 110,000 SF structural steel customer service building and three two-story cast-in-place concrete/structural steel quick turnaround buildings with wash and service bays totaling 135,000 SF. Also included are six service canopies for car fueling and vacuuming as well as six 25,000 gallon underground fuel storage tanks with 75 individual fuel pumps. |
