Conceived as an urban village, Paseo Colorado represents the redevelopment of a 1970's era enclosed mall situated on Pasadena's thriving Colorado Boulevard. The development encompasses three city blocks (14.9 acres) and consists of two programs – residential and retail. The residential program contains 400 units in a series of four-level apartment buildings, and range in size from 600 to 1,400 SF.
The retail program consists of 590,000 SF of shops, restaurants, a multiplex, supermarket, fitness center and spa.
Acoustical issues included noise mitigation relating to traffic, the loading dock, activities on the plaza such as live music, and mechanical equipment.
