The Moore Laboratory, funded by a gift from Intel founder Gordon Moore, provides space for Computational Neural Systems and Electrical Engineering. This 90,000 SF four-story building is organized about a central courtyard oriented toward the new circulation mall to serve as a central "outdoor living room" for the community of scientists, and support staff. One entire floor consists of teaching laboratories.

Veneklasen Associates provided complete acoustical and audio-visual design services for the laboratories, faculty offices, and two lecture halls.
