A landmark structure that first opened in 1912, the Beverly Hills Hotel underwent an extensive restoration in 1995. The entire decor was refreshed, and a tearoom, grand staircase, and private dining venue were added. In addition, the ballroom was enlarged, as were all of the guest rooms. The Hotel received both the Mobil Travel Guide Five-Star Award – its seventh consecutive year - and the AAA Five-Diamond Award for the year 2006.

As part of the design team for this legendary landmark, Veneklasen Associates was retained to help assure quiet and private guestrooms as well as comfortable dining and function spaces.
